Who leads the clinical work

Led by a BCBA who shows up.

Ilana Gross, BCBA — Founder & Clinical Director. Bachelor’s in Speech & Language Pathology from Touro College; dual Master’s in Education and Special Education from Mercy College; advanced certificate in ABA from the Florida Institute of Technology. Over a decade of experience in special education and ABA.

She personally oversees every BCBA and RBT working with SLC families. No phantom clinical directors, no rotating supervision — the person on the org chart is the person reviewing your child’s data.

Salt Lake City parent FAQs

Real answers, no runaround.

The questions SLC parents ask before they pick up the phone.

Our brick-and-mortar center is 10 minutes south of downtown at 5444 South Green Street in Murray — a straight shot down State Street or I-15. Most SLC families drive in for center-based sessions because of the 10,000+ sq ft purpose-built space, the sensory rooms, and the peer interaction. For families who’d rather stay home, our RBTs come to your house anywhere in Salt Lake City for in-home ABA.

Correct. Most established Utah ABA providers have 6–12 month waitlists because they hire reactively. We hire ahead of demand — our BCBAs and RBTs have open capacity right now. After your free phone consult, we verify your insurance, schedule the BCBA assessment, and most children start therapy within 72 hours of that assessment. If we ever can’t take a new family, we tell you on the first call — we don’t park you on a list.

Utah Medicaid (including Molina Healthcare of Utah, Healthy U, Health Choice Utah, and SelectHealth Community Care), SelectHealth commercial, Molina commercial, Aetna, Cigna, and most other major plans. Utah’s autism insurance mandate requires private plans to cover ABA therapy for children with an autism diagnosis. For most Salt Lake City families, the out-of-pocket cost is $0. We verify benefits on our first call — for free, with no obligation — so you’ll know your exact cost before any paperwork.

Yes. Our licensed psychologist conducts comprehensive autism evaluations, usually within a week of intake — not the 6–18 month wait you’ll see at Primary Children’s and most other Utah evaluators. If your child is diagnosed, we coordinate ABA services directly so you don’t have to start over with a new provider, repeat the developmental history, or hand off insurance documentation. See our autism testing page for what to expect.

Salt Lake City proper (Avenues, Sugar House, Rose Park, Glendale, Capitol Hill, Downtown), West Jordan, Sandy, South Jordan (including Daybreak), Draper, Midvale, Cottonwood Heights, Holladay, Taylorsville, West Valley City, Murray, and Millcreek. If you live within roughly 30 minutes of our Murray clinic, we cover you. Don’t see your neighborhood? Call (385) 550-3500 — we’ll be honest on the first call about whether we can serve you.
